Founded in 2005, Penthera Partners is an international software company that develops and deploys software products that facilitate the delivery of video content for global video content providers. CEO and Chairman
Michael Willner co-founded Insight Communications and served as CEO, director, and vice chairman of the board until Insight was sold to Time Warner Cable in February 2012. He has served two consecutive terms as chairman of the National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA) and chaired its political action committee (CablePAC) from 2000 until 2012. Willner received the NCTA’s 2004 Vanguard Award for Distinguished Leadership and was inducted into the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame (2005) and the Cable Hall of Fame (2008).
President and COO
Daniel Taitz is known for transformative work with some of the biggest names in media, including options for Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Univision Communications, and Oxygen Media, where he negotiated the sale of the company to NBC Universal. Joining Penthera in 2015, Daniel Taitz brings deep and broad experience in the entire range of strategic, operating, and administrative business functions.
Chief Technology Officer
Joshua Pressnell joined Penthera after a long career as a military contractor developing integrated sensor systems and standards.  Pressnell brought extensive experience in embedded systems, signals intelligence, sensor data fusion, and real-time software to the mobile software development industry, and quickly built a stellar reputation as an independent developer of top-ranked and top-grossing iOS mobile apps.  Pressnell joined Penthera in 2011 as the iOS Team Lead, eventually taking on the role of Director of Engineering, and now Chief Technical Officer.
Chief Revenue Officer
Joining Penthera in 2017, Daniel Hurwitz boasts more than 20 years of experience in digital marketing/media, AdTech, EdTech, and HealthTech and is well versed in technology solutions to support mobile and video. A start-up specialist, Hurwitz led Sales at Evergage, GoNoodle, and MapMyFitness (acquired by Under Armour in 2013).
Chief Marketing Officer
A revenue-focused, global brand marketer and sales strategy executive, Jodi Susman brings more than 20 years of experience leading advertisers in digital media strategy. She has spent half of her career developing innovative digital campaigns from the advertising agency perspective, and has split her time with technology start-ups, where she developed go-to-market strategies for new product launches.
Co-Founder and Senior Advisor
Adam Berger left Nokia to co-found Penthera Technologies in 2005, where he served as chief technology officer, vice president, and director. Berger holds degrees in physics and computer science from Harvard University and a PhD in computer science from Carnegie Mellon University, and he has published more than 20 referenced papers and holds 10 US patents.
‍Chief Financial Officer
Mark Pougnet is a seasoned finance executive for fast-growing technology companies. He has served as CFO for several cloud and mobile-based companies, including Frequency Networks, Cobalt Iron, and Wazee Digital. His expertise includes a wide range of successful capital market transactions, building teams, helping companies with their revenue growth plans and providing sage direction to tech company executives. He is a CPA by training.
Chief Product Officer
A tech executive with deep product, strategy and finance experience.  His career includes senior roles in start-ups and Fortune 500 companies in the media, cable, telecom, ad tech and software sectors.  Brian had led teams responsible for launching products to millions of customers including OTT streaming video apps and consumer hardware.
