Data Analyst/ Product Manager
The Position
We are looking for a Data Analyst/Product Manager to join our product team and work cross-functionally alongside engineering, marketing, and customer success. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to generate insights that inform product strategy and marketing messages. At the same time, you'll be instrumental in developing a set of products and features that provide Penthera's customers with analytics dashboards and operational support tools. This role is ideal for someone with a focused background in analytics that is looking to expand their influence within an organization.
Your Responsibilities
- Own the measurement of products and features
- Work within product management to define meaningful metrics
- Develop insights on product usage to inform sales and marketing strategies
- Build data visualizations and dashboards that clearly communicate findings
- Develop and execute a strategy for customer facing data visualization and operational support tools
- Take a lead in developing cross-functional talent to be effective consumers of data analytics and to work with tools to generate their own insights.
Your Background
- Academic background in data analytics
- 5+ years in a role that utilized your analytics skills working with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in SQL and working with relational databases
- Experience with business intelligence & analytics tools and data visualization
- Excellent written, verbal, and graphic communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues
- Familiarity with product development concepts and tools (requirements development, Agile, JIRA)
- Basic knowledge and background in statistical concepts
- Self-driven, experience and success in learning new tools and concepts
Bonus Qualifications
- Multi-lingual
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python)
- Splunk query language/dashboards
- Experience with one or more modern data analytic systems (e.g., AWS QuickSight, Azure DataBricks, or similar)
- Knowledgeable in relational and non-relational data management (e.g., Mongo, CouchDB, AWS Athena, Snowflake, AWS Aurora/Dynamo/RDS, or other)
- Knowledgeable in notebooks (e.g., Jupyter, Zeppelin or similar)
- Familiarity with models & concepts of real-time data manipulation and analysis (e.g., Apache Storm, Apache Spark Streaming, AWS Kinesis, or similar)
- Familiarity with models & concepts of parallel/distributed computation, distributed data, and/or data pipelines (e.g., sharding, node-based computation)

Customer Results Manager
The Position
As Customer Results Manager, you will helpPenthera retain and grow our strategic customers. This person must beself-motivated, extremely organized, team-oriented, creative, and possessoutstanding communication skills. This role's primary responsibility will be toensure customer satisfaction and maximum value return from Penthera's products& services.
Key Responsibilities
- Build customer relationships, while working to drive engagement and renewals
- Maintain a cadence of communicating with customers about their adoption trends, sentiment, and mining opportunities for deeper engagement
- Partner with the Sales team to generate demand for additional products and services within your assigned accounts to grow existing revenue
- Working with integrated cross-functional teams to ensure customer’s requirements are successfully delivered
- Gauge customers’ levels of engagement with Penthera and provide feedback to the other teams regarding product and service improvements
- Monitor and track customer implementation process, including timelines and roadblocks through frequent customer status calls
Additional Duties & Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites if needed
- Establish clear meeting agendas and provide client background and call plans to internal resources in advance
- Represent Penthera in the industry at local, regional and national trade shows and events
- Continuously learn Penthera products, value and fit into the customer base
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing client relationships
- Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience in a relevant field of study
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal communication, and analytical skills
- Ability to understand client needs and identify new business opportunities
- Ability to understand technical concepts and value to customers
- Experience working with large enterprise customers
- Willingness to build positive and productive relationships with customers as well as internal teams
- Previous experience delivering Quarterly Business Reviews to ensure customer satisfaction
- Previous experience in OTT (AVOD/SVOD/TVE) is not required but helpful
- Demonstrated experience managing client expectations and communications between client and internal project teams
- Excellent networking skills to identify the right customer stakeholders and build connections quickly in large organizations
- Skilled with MSOffice, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
